Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit in accordance with facility protocols and standards of practice
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, monitoring patients for response and adverse effects
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate safe and effective patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and interventions

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Kansas or a compact state license
• Current BLS certification required
• Prior experience in a Medical Surgical setting
• Ability to work night shift as a travel contract nurse

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Strong critical thinking and adaptability skills in fast-paced inpatient environments
