Join our team. #CloroxIsThePlaceYour role at Clorox:The Plant EIC Engineer serves as the site’s technical authority for all electrical power systems, industrial controls, automation platforms, and Operational Technology (OT) networks. This role ensures safe, reliable, and compliant operation of plant electrical infrastructure while driving continuous improvement in automation, system integration, and network resilience. The engineer partners closely with maintenance, operations, IT, and corporate engineering teams to support production goals and long term asset health.This engineer will utilize the Clorox Engineering Practices, Standards, Specifications, Early Management Tools and overall OpEx principles to design, modify capability, and improve plant system performance across the facility. This position maintains close connection and involvement with Plant Operations, Plant Maintenance, Glad R&D, Corporate HSE&S Team, Clorox Central Engineering Team, Clorox Capital Project Management Team, Clorox EIC Platform Team, Clorox IT and OT Teams.In this role, you will:Lead the design, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of plant electrical distribution systems, including low- and medium-voltage infrastructure.Maintain electrical system documentation, including single-line diagrams, arc-flash studies, load calculations, and protective device coordination while ensuring compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA, and corporate standards.Manage electrical contractors and vendors, ensuring safe work execution, adherence to specifications, and successful project delivery.Lead approximately 15 annual electrical and controls capital projects totaling ~$3.5M, including scope development, vendor selection, installation, commissioning, and asset lifecycle planning.Serve as the plant subject matter expert for PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, VFDs, instrumentation, industrial control systems, and automation technologies.Develop, maintain, and enhance control logic, HMI interfaces, automation standards, and change-management procedures while supporting system upgrades and migrations.Troubleshoot complex electrical and process control issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to improve reliability, uptime, and product quality.Own the architecture, reliability, cybersecurity, and performance of the plant OT network, partnering with IT on network segmentation, firewalls, VLANs, secure remote access, and ISA/IEC 62443 and NIST compliance.Drive predictive and preventive maintenance strategies, electrical and controls standardization initiatives, energy-efficiency projects, and power-quality improvements aligned with the site's long-term EIC roadmap.Provide technical leadership, training, and mentoring for maintenance, operations, engineering, EHS, and IT teams, fostering safe work practices and successful project execution.What we look for:Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Controls, Automation Engineering, or a related technical field.5+ years of manufacturing or industrial experience.Hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, and industrial automation systems, preferably Allen-Bradley/Rockwell.Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, controls, and automation systems, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.Experience leading automation or electrical capital projects from planning through commissioning.Knowledge of OSHA regulations, lockout/tagout (LOTO), arc-flash, and electrical safety standards.Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams.#LI-ONSITEWorkplace type:OnsiteOur values-based culture connects to our purpose and empowers people to be their best, professionally and personally. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.–Zone A: $90,900 - $170,100–Zone B: $83,400 - $155,900–Zone C: $75,800 - $141,700All ranges are subject to change in the future.
