Senior Mechanical Engineer (PE)

Client is a full-service MBE consulting engineering firm offering Architectural, Civil & Environmental, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical Discipline that is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for its expanding mechanical group. The successful candidate must be quality focused with experience in efficiently performing calculations and developing construction documentation for on-time delivery. Job responsibilities include : Client relations, solicitation of new work, and resolution of any concerns. Preparation of Proposals. Budgetary and schedule tracking and adherence. Collaboration with other disciplines, anticipating needs to ensure success of the overall team. Design and development of projects and project details. The selected individual will be operationally responsible for designing and delivering discipline-related segments of overall projects for clients, including participation on sub-consultant teams. Draft Specifications for project specific application. Certification of Construction Documentation and permit applications. Construction administration for ongoing projects. Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and technical writing skills. Qualified candidates must have a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of ten years’ experience. The Candidate should also have, or be able to obtain, an Indiana PE certification. The ideal Candidate should have demonstrated strength in calculations, equipment selection, industry software and a strong history of successful projects particularly in Industrial/Commercial HVAC and Plumbing design.
