Radiology - CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Hours (21:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 Year Required License: Valid State License Required Certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS Must-Have: Charge Experience Patient Ratio Experience Charting System Experience Community Client Experience Description:This is a reduced non-billable orientation job with no hours of NBO.The position requires a licensed CT/X-ray Tech.It is a weekday night shift that involves both CT and X-ray work.The schedule is Monday through Thursday night, consisting of 4 ten-hour shifts from 21:00 to 07:00.After midnight, the tech will be the only one on shift performing both CT and X-rays.There is no requirement to float between units.No on-call requirement.Weekends are not required.Block scheduling is required, specifically Monday through Thursday.The expected patient ratio is 1:1.Staffing includes a mix of adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.The daily census averages around 50 visits per day.The facility is a short-term acute care centre and a Level III trauma centre.Interdisciplinary support and interpretation services are available.The tech is expected to handle a variety of procedures including 3D rendering, contrast administration, and various CT studies.Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays throughout the contract duration.References are required covering experience within the last 3 years.Travellers may be expected to float between nearby facilities.Communication devices will be provided if necessary for job duties.Candidates should not reach out to facility contacts directly unless previously agreed upon.Modules are to be completed pre-start and annually and are self-reported. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet HealthStaff
