Radiology Tech – Diagnostic Radiologic Tech needed for a travel assignment in Cumming, Georgia. Start date: September 21, 2026. Duration: 16 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,716–$1,798 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 12-hour days on a 12x3 schedule. Setting: hospital environment. Employment type: Travel - Temporary Assignment with Healthforce Healthcare LLC. This assignment requires active engagement in a high-volume diagnostic imaging department and involves inpatient and outpatient studies in a 24-hour operation.

Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures, including X-ray and fluoroscopy (C-arm) exams, while ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Operate radiology equipment and document images in the Cerner system, maintaining high image quality and accurate labeling
- Conduct inpatient and outpatient exams in a high-volume setting; support both routine radiographs and fluoroscopic procedures
- Assist with specialized procedures (e.g., C-arm procedures, fluoroscopy, lumbar punctures) under physician guidance
- Adhere to radiation safety practices, infection control, and sterile technique; uphold patient positioning and verification protocols
- Communicate effectively with radiologists, nursing staff, and patients; provide clear instructions and ensure informed consent and workflow efficiency

Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Diagnostic Radiology (within the specialty)
- AHA BLS certification required
- Cerner experience with operative use for OR and Fluoro in a high-volume department (approx. 150 exams per 24 hours)
- Ability to perform inpatient and outpatient radiography, fluoroscopic exams, and C-arm procedures
- Availability to work 12-hour days on a 12x3 schedule and to fulfill holiday requirements as noted
