Operations Supervisor

Summary Responsible for overseeing and assisting in the day to day operations of shop floor personnel. Duties and Responsibilities Provides communication between the shop floor and internal support groups to address all requests for information, quality issues, schedule priorities, and delivery performance. Ensures shop floor schedules are adhered to and estimated completion dates are provided and accurately maintained. Performs daily time card processing for shop floor employees. Attends daily production meetings & line walks. Assists with MRB activities including RCCA's (QCBD). Assists in organization of work staging areas as needed to maximize productivity through lean activities. Works to ensure operators have the tools and materials needed to perform their job. Works to maintain high morale and efficiency in all areas. Ensures that all employees in the area understand their jobs. Ensures that all employees understand the various safety items required in their areas. Position Requirements Education and Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
