Associate Director Project Management

Associate Director of Program ManagementMRM Health is seeking an Associate Director of Program Management. This role requires a candidate who demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills, who strives to manage both a portfolio of business and team in the field of Project Management. The ideal candidate will drive a positive and collaborative working environment and both lead and drive working relationships with clients, external partners and within the agency. This role requires the candidate to have an expert ability to work independently while identifying, analyzing, and resolving problems. This role also requires expert decision-making skills and the ability to communicate confidently and efficiently with managers and team members across all areas of the agency. Finally, the ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills.Responsibilities:Responsible for a portfolio of projects (or programs) acting as a delivery leadEffectively planning, problem solving and delivering to drive excellenceDrive the delivery team and partner with leaders in all departments to achieve business objectivesExpertly perform all aspects of project delivery from project scoping and definition to successful execution, and lessons learnedInteract and collaborate knowledgably with clients, partners, vendors and across the MRM networkEnhance/create processes and procedures, based on business objectives and opportunities to improve, streamline and/or automateSteward and enforce project standards and business management systemsLead/mentor APMs, PMs, SPMs and Program Managers; Likely will have direct reportsFoster client relationships and build inroads for new opportunitiesQualifications:Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, including those with clients and senior agency teamAble to consistently demonstrate key leadership skills in leading the immediate and broader team and multiple direct reports to meet project and agency goalsAble to work expertly under pressure and very comfortable with change and complexity in dynamic environmentsAble to shift readily between the "big picture" and the small-but-crucial details, knowing when to concentrate on eachAble to work expertly with clients, partners and vendors to deliver an overall solutionUnderstands, provides input to and gauges the quality of the project requirements and ensures alignment of the solutionsAble to expertly lead and motivate multi-disciplinary project teamsAble to expertly lead meetings with clients and agency team, and create/deliver persuasive presentationsAble to expertly manage multiple projects as one cohesive programAble to sell and negotiate solutionsExcellent ability to apply concepts in strategy, marketing and brand managementExcellent management skills including coaching and mentoring of APMs, PMs and SPMsExcellent leadership behavior and ability to act with managerial courage to motivate and influence teamStrong propensity to master business processes, as ADPM will implement program plansEducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree strongly preferredMasters-level degree a plusDetailed knowledge of pharmaceutical brand marketing including digital, broadcast, print, Medical/Legal/regulatory review, Launch experience a plus.PMP or other operational/organizational certification (Ital., Six Sigma) a plus8+ years' experience in project management or service management within a professional services company2-3 years' experience with direct management of team members strongly preferredAgency or client-side experience strongly preferredExpert skill level with MS Office experience, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook strongly preferredExpert skill level with MS Project or other project plan software (Smartsheet) strongly preferredExpert skill level with production tools and proprietary software (Egnyte, JIRA, Content Management Systems, online routing, etc.) strongly preferredExcellent knowledge of the web and related technologies including (user experience, web development, web services, integration, application management and hosting) strongly preferredStrong experience with both traditional/non-digital and digital campaigns (including site, digital experiences, email, and TV/ONVs projects) strongly preferred.Excellent experience with project methodologies, including agile, hybrid, and waterfallExpert project management skills and experience including:Schedule development, management, monitoring and oversightResource management and forecastingTask and delivery managementRisk identification and managementIssue identification and managementEstimate development, tracking and forecasting project fees and costs, and overseeing APM, PM and SPMContribute to Project Scope of Work documents and audit to identify risksReconciling project or program fees and costs for client review across an AccountDelegation to support teamsThis role will be based out of New York City. The salary range for this position is $115,000 to $130,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; the associated discipline; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.Omnicom's policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.
