Staff Physical Therapist – Boulder or Longmont, CO

Full-Time Preferred; Part-Time Considered | $75,000–$100,000 Annually

Schedule

We are hiring one Physical Therapist for our Boulder location and one for our Longmont location .

• Full-time is preferred at 30 or more hours per week
• Part-time schedules will also be considered
• Weekday schedule with no weekends
• Clinics operate between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM
• Highly flexible, self-built scheduling
• Options may include four 10-hour days, five eight-hour days, or another schedule based on the therapist’s availability and clinic needs
• No shift will exceed approximately 11 hours

Position Overview

Join a family-owned and physical therapist-owned outpatient practice providing personalized orthopedic and sports rehabilitation in Boulder and Longmont, Colorado.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Physical Therapist who values clinical autonomy, schedule flexibility, and true one-on-one patient care. Our therapists are trusted to use their experience, clinical judgment, and preferred treatment approach without unnecessary corporate rules or micromanagement.

You’ll work alongside a collaborative, upbeat team in a welcoming environment where the owner remains actively involved in patient care.

Patient Care Model

• Outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine
• True one-on-one patient care
• No physical therapy aides
• 30-minute appointments for evaluations and follow-up visits
• Approximately 15 patients during a standard eight-hour day
• Salaried compensation regardless of patient no-shows or late cancellations
• Flexibility to develop an individualized treatment approach for each patient

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with orthopedic, musculoskeletal, and sports-related conditions
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care
• Provide evidence-based treatment based on each patient’s needs and goals
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatment plans, and home exercise programs
• Accurately document evaluations, progress, and treatment outcomes
• Collaborate with other therapists, referring providers, and clinic team members
• Manage an established outpatient caseload independently
• Support a positive, patient-focused clinic environment

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Active or eligible Colorado Physical Therapist license
• Ability to work independently and manage an outpatient caseload
• Strong communication, documentation, and patient-care skills
• Collaborative, positive, and self-directed approach

One to two years of outpatient orthopedic or sports medicine experience is preferred. New graduates will be considered, particularly those with a strong related background in areas such as athletic training or massage therapy.

No specialty certifications are required.

Compensation and Benefits

• Full-time salary: $75,000–$100,000 annually
• Part-time compensation based on the agreed-upon schedule
• Health insurance with the employer covering 50% of the premium
• Separate paid vacation and sick time

• 401(k) eligibility after one year with a 3% employer match

Each clinic includes approximately five Physical Therapists and four front-office team members. The environment is collaborative, energetic, positive, and low-key, with a strong focus on supporting therapists rather than micromanaging them.

Physical Therapists are encouraged to grow professionally, and this position offers a potential path into a Clinic Director or management role .
