Open Arms Supported Living Direct Support professional (DSP)

Support individuals to access the community, make friends,

have fun and be as self-sufficient as possible. Provide support to

our individuals at home, in recreational settings, or in the

community. This support includes personal hygiene,

housekeeping where the individual lives, grocery shopping,

medical appointments, assisting with medication delivery,

transportation, or social and recreational assistance. To

enhance the ability of individuals to lead a self-directed life by

providing the support, guidance, and information necessary to

build self-esteem, confidence, assertiveness, and to make

informed decisions.

(DSP) will support our Individuals in their homes and

community life. Individuals that we serve are supported in their

jobs, and homes, and integrated into community life, recognizing that they're unique, valued people, and

communities are enriched by their participation.

the support of our Individuals in their homes and community
life by supporting every goal & outcome! Our mission is to
empower people to be as self-sufficient, self-determining, and
successful as possible. We are a newly established provider
agency in the DD (Developmental Disabilities) Waiver program,
committed to enhancing the lives of individuals with
developmental disabilities and their families. We solve
problems and create solutions working together with families
and interdisciplinary teams! Open Arms supported living is not
just a supported living facility—it is their home and their
community. We also value the time, skills, and opinions of our staff. We are committed to providing fair and living wages,
reasonable, structured work schedules, clear duties, spheres of
rights, and responsibilities for each team member. We do not
expect staff to do work for which they are not trained; we
expect personnel to share their suggestions for improving any
aspect of Open Arms Supported Living working operations or
caregiving. We aim to provide jobs that not only provide
sustenance for our workers' families but also allow them a
space to make a difference in the world around them, through
caring and support to our community's most vulnerable
members.
