Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a Critical Access Hospital, requiring CAH experience and the ability to float to Med/Surg. Requirements Active MN RN license required Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), NRP, and AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM) Minimum 2 years of RN experience required CAH experience required Experience in both OB/L&D and Med/Surg required; must be comfortable floating between both disciplines Epic EMR experience required BSN not required Must have a current MN NetStudy fingerprint clearance or the ability to complete fingerprinting promptly Responsibilities Acute care setting at a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) Labor & Delivery unit with floating responsibilities to Med/Surg (MS) Low-volume L&D unit delivering approximately 12–15 births per month (roughly 150 per year) Patient population includes OB patients 36+ weeks gestation, pre‑eclampsia, and multiples; higher‑risk or under‑36‑week patients are transferred out 12‑hour shifts; rotating Day/Night or straight nights available — no straight days Every other weekend (EOW) or every third weekend required Rotating schedule is approximately 2 weeks days / 2 weeks nights Epic EMR; experience required Cardiac monitoring with Nihon Kohden equipment; fetal monitoring with Philips Fetal Heart Monitors 13‑week contract Candidate must be comfortable practicing in both L&D and Med/Surg environments, as floating between units is expected MN NetStudy fingerprint requirements must be understood and fulfilled prior to starting Orientation is 12 hours Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non‑taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler
