Our Avionics Product Center Industrial Engineering Team plays a crucial role in optimizing manufacturing efficiency, ensuring we meet the demands of today while preparing for the innovations of tomorrow.THE WORKCollaborates closely with Operations Leadership to implement new technologies and methodologies, optimize production layouts, and facilitate continuous improvement effortsWorks with a variety of tools such as Tableau, Microsoft Office Suite, and other data analysis software to turn data into actionable insightsDevelops and leverages daily and weekly reports to monitor manufacturing labor performance metrics, helping to address cost, schedule, and production challengesAnalyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnelMay establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operationsConducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systemsOn the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methodsMay assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilitiesWHO WE ARESikorsky has a legacy of innovation and excellence in aerospace engineering. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
