Ultrasound Tech - General Seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technician to perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures. The ideal candidate will be proficient in imaging techniques and patient care, contributing to accurate diagnoses and treatment plans for a diverse patient population. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures according to established protocols and physician orders. Utilize ultrasound equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images. Evaluate sonographic images for technical quality and diagnostic information. Document patient information, procedure details, and findings accurately in the patient's medical record. Maintain equipment and ensure a safe and clean work environment. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. Schedule / Shift Friday, Saturday, Sunday Options for either 3x12s (2:30 PM - 3:00 AM) or 3x10s (2:30 PM - 1:00 PM) Required Qualifications Must have graduated from an accredited Ultrasound Technology program. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification required. Certifications BLS ARDMS Experience Minimum of 1 year of professional ultrasound experience required. Vascular ultrasound experience is preferred. First-time travelers are accepted. Skills Proficient in general diagnostic ultrasound imaging. Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. EMR / Systems Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is expected. Patient Population Adults and potentially pediatric and neonatal patients. Unit / Specialty General Diagnostic Ultrasound Floating / On-Call On-call duties required, one night per week from 1:00 AM to 6:30 AM. #J-18808-Ljbffr
