MECHANIC II (FULL TIME)

Overview We are hiring immediately for a full-time MECHANIC II position. Location: Canteen – 26 Upton Drive, Wilmington, MA 01887. Online applications accepted only. Responsibilities Operate and maintain equipment, including HVAC systems, high-pressure boilers, generators, and steam equipment. Read and record information from meters and gauges to verify operating conditions. Respond to dispatch calls for machine and equipment repairs; inspect machines to locate malfunctions and access problem areas. Inspect parts for wear or misalignment; remove, replace, repair, realign, and test components after service. Review inventory and order parts; ship/receive machines and maintain equipment inventory. Set up and operate mechanical equipment and small hand tools for repairs. Maintain a clean and safe work environment; perform work safely. Contribute to the team; maintain professionalism with customers and colleagues. Performs other duties as assigned.
