Machine Operator Details:

• Direct Hire position
• $ 20.00 to $ 27.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain production machinery with a focus on maximizing output and product quality. Perform machine setup, adjustments, and product verification to ensure accuracy and compliance for each job. Conduct regular quality assurance inspections throughout each production run, identifying and resolving any issues promptly. Monitor machine performance and production parameters to optimize efficiency and minimize waste. Assist in the training and development of new team members, particularly new gluers, fostering a collaborative work environment. Uphold all safety standards and perform regular housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace. Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to enhanced processes and customer satisfaction. Perform basic data analysis related to production and quality metrics as required.

Machine Operator Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably within the packaging and printing industry. Technical Skills: Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and strong technical knowledge of machinery operation and maintenance. Physical Requirements: Ability to consistently lift 15-20 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds when required. Dexterity: Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for precise machine operation and product handling. Core Competencies: Proven experience as a Machine Operator, with proficiency in Packaging processes, Quality Assurance, Quality Inspector duties, and basic Data Analysis. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience operating Printing Press machinery. Additional Requirements: Successful completion of a Background Check is required. Successful completion of a Drug Screen is required.
