Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make an impact this academic year as a dedicated School Psychologist working with K-12 students in a vibrant educational setting near Newport, OR. This full-time, onsite contract position spans 37.5 hours per week and offers the unique opportunity to help students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

Your expertise will provide valuable insights and support through comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments, ensuring that students’ needs are accurately identified and addressed. Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment throughout the school year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification or license as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience in a K-12 school environment strongly preferred
  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Proficient in conducting psychological evaluations, assessments, and counseling
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to adapt to various student needs and school settings

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform psychological and educational assessments to evaluate cognitive, academic, behavioral, and emotional development
  • Develop intervention strategies and recommendations for students and staff
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to special education processes
  • Provide consultation and guidance to teachers, administrators, and families
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to applicable ethical and legal standards
