Senior Financial Analyst

Position located in Division of Decommissioning, Closure, Analysis, and Financial Oversight. This job opportunity announcement may be used to fill additional vacancies within the agency. In order to qualify for this position, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level in Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as experience such as performing financial analysis and evaluation work requiring a comprehensive knowledge of (1) corporate finance and any specialized fields of finance required such as public finance, securities, international finance, money and securities markets, investments, and banking, and (2) the financial and management structure, operations, and practices of corporate and other organizations. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Analytical ability required to adequately initiate and conduct studies and reviews, and to critically evaluate data relating to indemnity, financial qualifications, decommissioning funding, property insurance for accident cleanup, and general safety regulatory issues. NRC qualified as a financial analyst. Experience with Financial Analysis and/or Economics as it relates to the nuclear power industry. Experience in Project Management techniques, especially as they apply to managing large or complex projects, and ability to apply policies, procedures and regulations or directives in project management. Demonstrated ability to interact and work effectively with management and staff at all levels within NRC, representatives of other Federal and state agencies, licensees, stakeholders and members of the public, and to achieve cooperation and consensus among parties with diverse and often conflicting viewpoints or objectives. #J-18808-Ljbffr PVH (Tommy Hilfiger/Calvin Klein)
