Assistant Branch Manager

Job Description TS Bank is seeking to hire an Assistant Branch Manager for our Council Bluffs locations. This role assists with direct operations of the branch locations to ensure operational effectiveness and that company and banking regulations, policies, and procedures are followed. Assists team's performance in ensuring clients receive prompt and courteous service and that banking products and services offered meet the needs of the client base. Education and experience preferred: Possess a high school diploma or GED certification required. Additional post high school education and/or training is preferred. Three to four years of banking experience and/or training in financial industry. Location: Council Bluffs, IA Experience And Skills Performs all essential responsibilities and tasks of all Universal Banker levels proficiently. Participate in branch audits and certifications to ensure branch compliance with policies and procedures Fulfill role of Branch Management staff in their absence and implement processes or projects as directed by this role Support leadership team in the planning and execution of community, client, and business partner events Reviews compliance related reports and reports to Branch Manager about what the common issues seen Assists in technical training of bankers based on personal development plans as directed by Branch Managers or Personal Banking Development Manager Foster and promote exceptional client service based upon guidelines set in the Client Impact Standards. Proactively identify sales opportunities with an emphasis on establishing profitable client relationships and deepening existing client relationships. Promote, explain, and sell all personal banking products and services. Ask clients for referrals. Develop and implement plans to include calling on maturing accounts, leads, referrals, new account follow-up, and other prospecting opportunities for the designated market area. Track results in the CRM and follow up as appropriate. Help review daily overdraft report and make pay or return and charge or no charge decisions. Authorize transactions in accordance with bank policy (e.g. deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, wire transfers, etc.). Maintain thorough product knowledge of all TS Banking Group products and services. Help perform various audits as assigned by the Internal Auditor. Address and resolve client concerns and inquiries. Periodically participates in the bank's business development activities, represent the bank in industry and professional associations, community organizations, local business groups, etc., and promotes the bank's favorable image. Ability to perform all other duties as assigned. Comply with all banking and company regulations, policies and procedures. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees of company and the general public. Must possess good communication skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. To effectively perform the job, must have reliable transportation to travel to and from work and other work-related events, meetings, interactions with clients, etc. Ability to operate the following: telephone, personal computer, printer, copy machine, fax machine. Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software programs. Advanced PC knowledge beneficial.
