About This Role The New Grad RN Resident in the ICU at Marymount Hospital is designed for recent nursing graduates seeking to develop their skills in a high‑acuity environment. This role offers a comprehensive residency program that combines hands‑on training with professional growth opportunities. Highlights Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour Location: Garfield Heights, OH Facility: Marymount Hospital Department/Unit: ICU Schedule: Full‑time, Day shift What You’ll Do Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs. Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach. Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care based on acuity, preference, and resources. Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions. Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently. Document in patients’ medical records. Requirements Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing; Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Experience: New grad or less than one year RN work experience; If experienced, must have less than one year current acute direct patient care RN experience. Licenses & Certifications: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN); Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS).
