Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required License: Active nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, PALS, TNCC required Must-Have: IV start, triage, and conscious sedation skills preferred Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse to work in the Emergency Room. This position involves night shifts consisting of 12 hours each. Shifts will primarily be scheduled every other weekend. Nurses will work either 8-hour or 12-hour evening or night shifts throughout the week based on unit needs. Patient ratios are 1:3 for days, nights, and weekends. Candidates must be comfortable floating within the facility as required. Travel candidates will be guaranteed a minimum of 36 hours per week for 12-hour shifts. Candidates are expected to have experience in managing IV starts and triage. This role involves working with patients across various age groups including adolescents, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The daily census averages 185 visits with 42 rooms available for patient care. Candidates should be prepared for the dynamic environment of an emergency room setting. A minimum of one supervisory reference is required for verification.
