Manufacturing Quote Engineer, CNC Machine ShopCincinnati, OhioFull time, first shift, onsite.Compensation: $110,000 to $130,000 per yearThis Manufacturing Quote Engineer role determines manufacturing steps, equipment requirements, programming needs, setup operations, materials, and labor required to complete work in a job shop machining environment. This position calculates production costs using labor, raw material, and processing price estimates, and prepares formal price and delivery quotations for management and customers.The Quote Engineer communicates directly with customers on proposals, quotations, and projects, and assists in preparing work instructions for new and revised projects. This role operates with a high degree of autonomy, working effectively and efficiently with limited day to day supervision. The position frequently involves moving between the office and machine shop to gather information, working at a computer for extended periods on research, documentation, and quoting, and communicating regularly with managers, technical staff, and coworkers.Required Qualifications3+ years of machine shop estimating or quoting experience on medium to high complexity partsQuoting experience specifically with CNC mill and lathe operations in a job shop environmentExtensive experience reading, analyzing, and understanding technical specifications, drawings, bills of material, material and process specifications, and quality documentationExtensive knowledge of tooling required for specific applicationsExperience with the planning and manufacturing modules of an ERP systemExtensive experience with machining of different material typesKnowledge of practical use of inspection and measurement tools for part dimensionsAbility to maintain a clean and organized work areaPreferred QualificationsExperience with JobBossCNC programming experienceCompensation and Benefits$110,000 to $130,000 per yearMedical and life insurancePaid vacationSpecifics to be confirmed with the clientTo apply, submit your resume for consideration.
