Cage Cashier - 31066We are currently looking for a Part Time 38 Cage Cashier to join our Artesian Casino Operations Unit 5 team located at the Artesian Casino working 10:30PM-7:00AM - Tu We Th Fr Sa. This is a 3rd shift position.Summary: Responsible for providing a high degree of courteous service to guests during their entertainment experience.Responsibilities:Provides first class customer service to both internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments, and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiencyCompletes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunitiesWorks in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all typesMaintains a clean, organized work area and ensures a safe environmentMaintains and promotes professionalismPunctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metricsAdheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standardsMaintains knowledge of and follows all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines for assigned areaDevelops and maintains documentation as appropriate -- files, logs, records, reports, etc.Cashes out patrons and give correct changeCounts and records the exchange of assigned funds at the beginning and throughout the shift with a goal of enforcing accurate exchangesBalances all funds at the completion of each shift in partnership with a supervisor or managerPerforms all other duties as assignedCompetencies:Able to follow instructions, both written and oralAble to adhere to all scheduling and attendance requirementsHonesty, truthfulness, reliability, accountabilityAble to read, understand, apply, and retain knowledge of Chickasaw Nation, departmental, divisional and all other rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelinesKnowledge of all casino promotions through communication with leadership and using internal resources such as newsletters, TV and promotions cardsAble to verbally communicate in a professional and positive manner with other team members, departments, guests and managementSkills:Skilled in operating a computer and/or other equipment related to specific role (i.e. automated currency counters, calculator, projector, binding machine, other related office equipment)Experience:1 year directly related experienceEducation:High School, GED or EquivalentCredentials:Pass gaming background checkGaming license or permit as required by assigned positionWorking Conditions:May work where cigarette smoking occursBright and Flashing lightsFast-paced environmentNoisyCommunications written, verbalInteracts with clinical, support, technical, professional or management staff in a variety of settings and situationsPass pre-employment drug testHand-eye coordination, reach and graspManual dexterityListening and hearing abilityPush/pull heavy carts or equipment of one or more typesRepetitive motionsSitting up to 100% of shiftStanding up to 100% of shiftVisual acuity for detail, distance, color, depth perceptionMay work day shiftMay work evening shiftMust be flexible with work scheduleMay work holidaysMay work night shiftMay work rotating shiftsMay work weekend shiftTraining: It is the responsibility of each employee to attend required training for their position or profession as determined by their line of support (LOS) or the leadership of the Chickasaw Nation.
