CNC Operator - 2nd ShiftEureka, Missouri, United StatesPrimary Responsibility:Sets up and operates CNC Lathe – machines/inspects parts per drawingDuties and Responsibilities:Sets up machine – set up tooling – install/machine soft jaws as requiredDownloads program via computer.Make offsets to maintain part dimension tolerance. Responsible for ensuring each part is made within designated specifications.Inspects parts using precision measuring instruments – micrometers – calipers – depth micrometers bore gages – plug gages.Operates hoist / automatic band saw - Saw parts to required specification as required.Follows all Safety instructions and practices.Follows work instructions in place.Minimum QualificationsKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesGood mechanical skills.Basic machine shop practicesAbility to use precision measuring instruments.Ability to follow instructions.Basic math skills.Education/ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent.Trade School or previous machine shop experience preferredPhysical requirementsAble to lift 35 lbs. on occasionStand for extended periods - 2 hour periodsSome overtime requiredMaxcess is an equal employment opportunity employer.
