This position offers the opportunity to own the accounting function, work closely with leadership, analyze business performance, strengthen processes, and make a meaningful impact.If you're looking for a role where your accounting experience, judgment, and ideas are valued—and where you can take ownership rather than simply process transactions—we'd like to hear from you.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesServe as the lead accounting resource for the facility and oversee day-to-day accounting operationsLead the monthly financial close process and ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end activitiesPrepare and review journal entries, accruals, adjusting entries, and general ledger activityPrepare and review bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliationsOversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, inventory, and other accounting functionsPrepare monthly financial statements, forecasts, budget-to-actual reports, and supporting schedulesAnalyze financial results and explain significant variances and trendsMaintain accurate supporting documentation for financial transactions, reconciliations, and journal entriesCoordinate annual external audit materials and work directly with external auditorsEstablish and maintain effective accounting procedures and internal controlsIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting accuracy, and efficiencyProvide leadership, training, review, and support to accounting staffPartner with the General Manager and Regional Finance Team on financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysisProvide hands-on support and backup to accounting staff as neededPerform other accounting and financial responsibilities as assignedSupervisory ResponsibilitiesCarries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends Global policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with energy and enthusiasm.
