Senior UAT Analyst: Healthcare Claims Testing Lead

Job Title: Senior UAT Analyst – Healthcare Claims Contract Duration: 2 months with potential Extension/W2 Job Overview We are hiring a Senior UAT Analyst – Healthcare Claims for one of our leading clients in the healthcare industry. This role will support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for Claims Operations systems and applications, ensuring all business requirements are validated prior to production deployment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in healthcare claims testing, QA/UAT processes, defect management, and collaboration with both business and technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for Claims-related systems and applications. Create and manage detailed UAT test plans, test cases, test scripts, and expected results. Perform positive and negative testing to validate business requirements and identify defects before production release. Execute test planning, test execution, defect tracking, and status reporting activities. Collaborate with IT teams, Business Analysts, Claims Operations teams, and stakeholders throughout the testing lifecycle. Participate in requirement reviews, solution discussions, and data validation activities. Identify testing risks, issues, mitigation plans, and action items through closure. Ensure all testing activities follow standard QA and UAT best practices. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Claims Operations systems and workflows. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in QA, UAT, or systems/application testing. Strong experience with UAT methodologies, test plans, test scripts, and defect management. Experience with unit, integration, and system testing. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective testing scenarios. Experience working closely with Business Analysts, technical teams, and business stakeholders. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience in healthcare claims, medical care, government programs, or commercial lines of business. Project Management certification or related project experience is a plus.
