Fire Protection Engineer
Position: Fire Protection Engineer (Los Angeles Area, California).
Pay range: $150,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr.
Qualifications
Ideal candidate has 7+ years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Act as fire protection engineering discipline lead for the design and/or review of fire alarm, suppression, and life safety systems on multi-discipline projects.
- Act as local fire protection engineering department lead in your office, including business development, team training/mentorship, performance management, workload management and recruiting.
- Coordinate with and support other A/E disciplines.
- Present and solicit knowledge sharing opportunities between other architectural and engineering disciplines.
- Participate in design review meetings and workshops.
- Assist with preparation of comprehensive fire protection packages including fire suppression, fire alarm, smoke management, and life safety.
- Create specification documentation for fire alarm and fire suppression systems.
- Perform fire suppression and alarm systems calculations.
