Procurement Analyst (Hybrid)

U.S. citizenship is required for this role. No security clearance is required. The role is responsible for supporting the digital sourcing functions in Enterprise Services (ES) Strategy and Transformation through collaborating and partnering with suppliers, ES leaders, and functional service owners. Key responsibilities include assessing data, supporting RFx events, setting up suppliers, working in sourcing systems such as Ariba, managing contracts and metadata. What You Will Do Entry-level Procurement professional. Carries out processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement, including RFPs, negotiation preparations, and cost analysis. Works with buyers in activities associated with purchasing goods, materials, supplies, and / or services. Carries out processes and standards in support of Procurement, including RFPs, negotiations, cost accountability, and / or program execution. Responds to client inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations to ensure customer satisfaction. Works with buyers in activities associated with purchasing goods, materials, supplies, and services. Prepares purchase orders and payment approvals to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly. Assembles price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information for analysis. Supports the preparation of request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages. Compiles records of items purchased, costs, deliveries, product performance, and inventories, analyzes data and ensures account needs are met. Contacts suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries to ensure resolution of problems such as shortages and missed or late deliveries. Conduct market research to assess supplier capabilities, pricing trends, and emerging risks. Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a University Degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience or, in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience. Basic understanding of contracts including Master Agreements, Statements of Work, and Order Forms. Requires theoretical knowledge typically obtained through University Degree. Limited to some knowledge of RTX organization.
