Physician Assistant | Pulmonology Location: Boston, MA Employer: AAS Locum Tenens Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking a dedicated Pulmonary Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a well-established and growing pulmonary medicine practice just south of Boston. Position Highlights Full-time, employed position Competitive compensation: $110,000 – $140,000 , based on experience Comprehensive benefits package Collaborative physician-led pulmonary team Stable schedule with work-life balance Modern facilities and strong clinical support staff Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic pulmonary conditions Conduct follow-up visits and ongoing disease management for pulmonary patients Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including PFTs, imaging, and laboratory tests Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans Provide patient education on disease management and preventive care Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record Collaborate closely with pulmonologists and interdisciplinary care teams Requirements: Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification Massachusetts license or eligibility for licensure Prior experience in pulmonary medicine preferred (new graduates with strong interest considered) Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills Excellent communication and patient-centered care approach Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment Benefits Package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plan with employer contribution Paid time off and holidays CME allowance and paid CME time Malpractice insurance with tail coverageaa415a4b-8b21-40fc-a65c-70d2b25ca29a
