Cost AccountantLocation: Camden, NJ (On-site)Salary: $80,000 to $100,000 per yearJob Type: Full-time, Direct HireAbout the OpportunityAddison Group is partnering with an established food manufacturer to hire a Cost Accountant in Collingswood, NJ. This is a high-visibility role supporting the consolidation of the company's North American operations. You will work closely with plant operations, finance, sales, and senior leadership, gaining hands-on exposure across multiple functions in a growing, process-driven organization.What You Will DoDevelop and maintain standard and actual product costs across multiple product linesAnalyze raw materials, labor, and overhead to ensure accurate product costingSupport selling price recommendations based on cost structures and margin targetsPerform cost variance analysis and identify key drivers of profitabilityServe as the primary point of contact for the sales team on costing, pricing, and margin questionsParticipate in weekly pricing strategy reviewsPartner with production teams at two plants to understand manufacturing processes and validate cost assumptionsLead the development of new costing processes and recommend improvements to cost accuracy and operational performanceWhat You Bring4+ years of cost accounting experience in food manufacturing or food processingExpert-level Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial modelingStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsComfort working on a plant floor and building relationships with operations teamsAbility to manage priorities independently and collaborate remotely with leadershipWillingness to travel approximately 15% (Massachusetts and occasionally Canada)Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferredNice to HaveERP experience (Aspen experience is a strong plus)Power BI or other data visualization experienceBenefitsHealth, dental, vision, and life insurance; 401(k) with company match; paid time off; tuition reimbursement; and an employee discount program.Interview ProcessInitial interview via Microsoft Teams, followed by an on-site interview and facility tour.Equal Opportunity EmployerAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
