\n We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide locum services in Bridgeport, CT. This is an excellent opportunity for a CRNA looking for full-time work in a high-acuity, academic hospital setting. Coverage is needed beginning February 2026 and ongoing for 6 months.\n

\n Job Details:\n
\n Case Types: High-acuity surgical cases across General, Orthopedic, Cardiovascular, Neurosurgery, Gastrointestinal, Urologic, Gynecologic, Ophthalmologic, ENT, and healthy pediatrics\n
\n
\n Setting: Academic hospital; Level I Trauma Center\n
\n
\n Schedule: Full-time only; 5x8s, 4x10s, or 3x12s. Shifts include 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, and 9:00 AM–9:00 PM (New Haven only). Must be available any day of the week, including Fridays, and willing to pick up extra shifts as needed\n

\n Support: CRNA works in a medically directed model with anesthesiologists; support staff includes anesthesia techs and surgical teams\n
\n
\n EMR System: EPIC\n
\n
\n Hospital Size: 1,541 beds\n
\n
\n Patient Volume: 10–12 cases per day\n
\n
\n Requirements:\n
\n Active CRNA Certification (NBCRNA)\n
\n
\n State License in Connecticut (or willingness to obtain)\n
\n
\n Minimum 2 years of CRNA experience required\n
\n
\n DEA license required\n
\n
\n Certifications: BLS and ACLS required\n
\n
\n Experience in Level I Trauma Center preferred\n
\n
\n Credentialing: Full 120-day process; physician references required from every prior CRNA practice site; clean background required\n
\n
