Shuttle Driver (No CDL Required) - One Hotel Nashville

Job Summary TheShuttle Driveris responsible for transporting guests to and/or from the hotel, hospital, casino and local area in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner using safe driving practices. The driver also assists guests with luggage, including delivery and pickup of luggage during guest arrival and departure, and maintains the vehicle activity and maintenance logs. Essential Functions Shuttle guests to appropriate places as approved by the manager and client contact; must be able to learn and remember pick‑up and destination points. Know all property outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, main attractions, parking rates, etc. (approximately 40% of time). Communicate by telephone, two‑way radio and in person in a courteous, friendly and professional manner with all guests, location staff and co‑workers; greet guests within 30seconds and maintain a professional demeanor. Operate only a vehicle that seats eight people or less, including the driver; inspect exterior and interior of vehicle each shift for proper operation of lights, brakes, mirrors, tires and other safety equipment (20% of time). Protect guest confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA requirements; maintain security of client financial and identifying information; provide hand assistance only, never a lift service; inspect and clean wheelchairs as necessary (20% of time). Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Must be at least 21years of age, have a valid driver’s license at all times, pass a criminal background, MVR and drug screen, and meet annual or semi‑annual MVR checks. Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle. Pass the Wheelchair Safety Training course provided by Towne Park if required. One to three months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and write standard English, comprehend simple instructions, and perform basic arithmetic with American currency. Knowledge of 24‑hour and military time systems and applicable rate calculations. Benefits Medical, dental and vision insurance.
