Respiratory Therapist - Columbia MD

Overview Johns Hopkins Intrastaff is the internal staffing agency for the Johns Hopkins Health System and partner hospitals, providing temporary support to a variety of locations. Schedule Night Shift, 6:30pm-7:00am, 36 hours per week, every 3rd weekend rotation, 13‑week contract assignment. Pay Rate: $55 - $60 per hour (Based on Experience). Responsibilities Administration of all respiratory care modalities, including invasive and non‑invasive mechanical ventilation, inhaled medication administration, medical gas therapy, humidity therapy, airway management, bronchial hygiene and airway clearance, chest tube management in the NICU, blood gas management, and intra‑hospital transport. Render comprehensive assessments for patients with cardiopulmonary compromise, develop clinical pathways, and interpret patient data to make evidence‑based recommendations for continued care. Manage clinical patient electronic health record documentation, billing, and hand‑off processes. Qualifications Minimum Associates degree required. Registered Respiratory Therapist (R.R.T.) credential required. Maryland license required. BLS and ACLS certificates required. NRP and PALS certifications highly preferred.
