Nanny for Four Days a Week

What could be better than working four days on, three days off? The Elite Nanny Team is recruiting a full-time professional babysitter for a family in Richfield, Minnesota. The family needs assistance Monday through Thursday from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, long term.


The parents have two children. They have a 6yo and a 3yo. The first one is very active and intelligent. As a social butterfly, LO is happiest when he is engaged in creating fun crafts and art. In the fall LO will be attending a bilingual Spanish immersion school full-time while you are working.


Full-Time Babysitter

The little one is quieter. LO enjoys playing with dolls, singing toddler songs, and working on the alphabet. LO is currently on one nap and is a great eater. There is a possibility LO will enter part-time preschool in the fall, but this will not take away from your hours.


The family is originally from Minnesota and recently moved back from New York City. They love hiking, eating out at international restaurants, and supporting Hispanic cultural values.


The parents would love to find a nanny who uses a balance of positive reinforcement and boundary-setting. Please be familiar with establishing and maintaining boundaries. Due to the children's intelligence, they like to push the envelope in a fun way. The parents would prefer that the children are encouraged to maintain respect, are rewarded with love (not gifts), and are pushed academically (within reason).

Full-Time Nanny

As a full-time nanny near Minneapolis, your nanny duties will include a moderate level of cleaning, preparing and cooking meals, unpacking groceries, and taking the kids to cultural events. The children may need some transportation; please have a car that can fit two car seats. In addition, the parents will love it if you can help keep the household tidy, empty the trash daily, and help with the dishwasher.


Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 an hour for an average of 30 hours a week or more!

Childcare Skills Needed

• Paid experience with infants and toddlers engaging them in age-appropriate development activities.
• Sleep training, potty training, and swim safety.
• Experience managing multiple children (such as doing playdates or in a school setting)
• May need familiarity with choking prevention and changing diapers.
• Provable work history as a toddler childcare expert.
• Familiarity with emergency preparedness protocol.
• A team player with fantastic communication skills.
• Solid decision-making skills and an interest in taking the initiative.
• Impressive organizational skills.

Professional Babysitting Job Near Saint Paul, MN

• Please be legally authorized to work in the United States
• A high school degree, GED, or equivalent
• The nanny will need a reliable car that can fit two car seats and a clean driving record.
• Open to CPR and First Aid certification
• Experience as a teaching assistant, a toddler teacher, or an infant lead teacher in a daycare.
• At least two years of paid experience working with young kids in a professional setting
• We appreciate excellent knowledge of age-appropriate developmental activities.
• Candidates with college or university degrees who have majored in Early Childhood Education (ECE) are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with Childhood Development Accreditation (CDA) certification favored.
