Position Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Industrial Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance and repair of production machinery, facility equipment, plumbing systems, and general industrial equipment.

This position will work alongside experienced maintenance mechanics and assist with troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance, equipment cleaning, lubrication, and general facility maintenance. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, dependable, safety-conscious, and interested in continuing to develop their industrial maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist maintenance mechanics with the repair and upkeep of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Dismantle equipment and assist with replacing defective components and motors.
• Adjust machine feed mechanisms as required.
• Clean and lubricate machine components including:
• • Shafts
  • Pulleys
  • Gears
  • Bearings
• Replace and repair machine belts.
• Remove dirt, grease, dust, and production waste from machinery.
• Perform general equipment cleaning and corrosion-prevention work.
• Assist with basic plumbing repairs and maintenance.
• Bend, cut, and thread pipe as required.
• Clear clogged drains and replace plumbing fixtures.
• Operate welding equipment to repair or join metal components.
• Assist with basic facility and equipment maintenance involving mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition.
• Identify maintenance issues and communicate concerns to supervisors or senior maintenance personnel.
• Follow all company safety policies and maintenance procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1–3 months of related maintenance experience or training , or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Comfortable working with industrial machinery and hand tools.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions and safety procedures.
• Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, ratios, and percentages.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical problems and follow instructions.
• Dependable attendance and strong attention to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.

Physical Requirements

This position requires regular physical activity in an industrial environment, including:
