RN OR Circulator

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced RN OR Circulator to provide exceptional perioperative nursing care to patients and their families. The RN OR Circulator is responsible for coordinating patient care throughout surgical procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and positive outcomes. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with physicians, surgical staff, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced operating room environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to surgical patients before, during, and after procedures
• Serve as the primary circulating nurse during surgical procedures
• Ensure operating room readiness, including equipment, supplies, and patient preparation
• Monitor patient condition and maintain patient safety standards throughout procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Demonstrate strong assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
• Administer medications, treatments, and assist with procedures while adhering to patient safety protocols
• Coordinate patient care with physicians, departments, and healthcare teams as needed
• Deliver patient and family education regarding procedures, recovery, and plan of care
• Handle high-volume communication regarding patient requests, medications, information, and assistance
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Advocate for patient safety, preferences, and effective communication using Relationship-Based Care principles
• Support organizational values and promote a Just Culture environment
• Maintain strict HIPAA compliance at all times

• Strong perioperative nursing knowledge and clinical skills

• Ability to delegate care appropriately according to Colorado state regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous Operating Room Circulator experience preferred
• Experience with multiple surgical specialties is a plus

Experience Required:

• Minimum 2 Years of Experience

License & Certifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado or a valid compact state license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
