Traveling - Project Manager

The Role Lithko Contracting LLC is hiring a Traveling Project Manager for our Travel Team. In this role, you will develop accurate estimates, share project information with stakeholders, and manage project administration. You can expect to spend 6 months to a year on each project, with travel required. Key Responsibilities Perform a detailed and accurate estimate for a potential project. Identify and quantify all necessary concrete scope items and collaborate in developing a strategy for a project. Generate a customer proposal and preliminary schedule. Perform the project's job setup, including initial contract review, cost codes, and preliminary budget. Generate and provide correct and timely project information. Create the preliminary schedule for the project. Organize log sets for all MPOs and POs to keep track of all logged items and submittals. Maintain an organized and accurate takeoff for the project. Collaborate with the Project Lead and other operational support to develop an accurate project plan. Communicate information, solutions, and opportunities to the entire team when necessary. Compile daily job cost reports to ensure the cost and quantity align with the budget. Create change orders after understanding customer expectations. Execute a detailed closeout for the project. Communicate detailed project information to all appropriate parties. Requirements & Qualifications Knowledge of Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook. Excellent organizational and communication skills. 5+ years of experience in project management and estimating for a large scale Self-Perform GC or Concrete Contractor. Self-performing experience of concrete is required. Experience with a variety of project types with emphasis on Commercial/Industrial concrete. Knowledge of construction principles/practices required with experience on projects over 1 million dollars. Previous experience with performing estimates, submitting bids, and generating proposals.
