It involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior staff to ensure successful project execution. The role requires a deep understanding of technical disciplines and acting as a mentor for less experienced colleagues. You’ll lead delivery across multiple teams or a moderately complex platform area. You’ll partner with Product and Engineering leads to align on priorities, manage cross-team dependencies, and drive continuous improvement. You’ll also contribute to planning and stakeholder communication.Job DescriptionResponsibilities:Understanding technical program scopes, driving key planning milestones, and ensuring alignment with product and business requirementsLeveraging technical expertise to research, plan, and achieve program objectives through effective team collaborationCoordinating with senior staff to secure participation from cross-functional core team members, including matrixed project managersOverseeing project execution from start to finish, ensuring technical specifications and program plans are followedCollaborating with core team and senior staff to schedule work and manage critical path tasks within program scopeAssisting in the development of program goals, objectives, and success criteria, ensuring alignment with technical strategiesIdentifying and analyzing complex technical risks and issues, providing resolutions, and supporting budget and resource forecastingMonitoring program deliverables for quality, working with senior staff to manage changes, and ensuring program objectives are metConsistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Track progress and surface blockers to senior EDMs. Agile SDLC Implementation Assist in scheduling and documenting agile ceremonies. Learn and apply FreeWheel’s SDLC practices. Planning & Capacity Management Help maintain Jira boards and sprint plans. Track team availability and flag inconsistencies. Process Improvement & Coaching Observe team workflows and suggest minor improvements. Participate in retrospectives and document action items. Stakeholder Communication & Alignment Share basic status updates with internal team. Escalate issues to senior team members as needed.
