Respiratory Therapist

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Respiratory Therapist based in Norfolk, VA. The Respiratory Therapist will provide specialized care to patients with cardiopulmonary and respiratory conditions. Responsibilities include performing assessments, administering respiratory therapy treatments, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Additional tasks may involve providing care in neonatal intensive care units and responding to critical care situations. Qualifications Experience in Respiratory Therapy, including administering treatments and monitoring patient responses Proficiency in Cardiopulmonary and Respiratory Care techniques Knowledge and experience with Neonatal Intensive Care settings Strong understanding of medicine as it pertains to respiratory conditions and critical care Certification and/or licensing as a Respiratory Therapist, as required by Virginia state regulations Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with patients and healthcare teams Detail-oriented approach with the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments A Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field is preferred but not required #J-18808-Ljbffr
