Clinical Nutrition Manager

Position: Clinical Nutrition Manager Location: Morrison Healthcare at Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY. Salary: $87,500 - $90,000 per year. $5,000 sign‑on bonus and relocation assistance offered. Job Summary Lead the clinical nutrition team to deliver high‑quality patient care and program excellence in a 348‑bed acute care medical center. Key Responsibilities Establish goals and oversee implementation of clinical nutrition care based on the facility’s medical direction and patient population. Assess nutritional status of patients through documentation in the medical record. Hire, lead, direct, coach, train, and develop nutrition team members. Train and mentor patient/resident services staff and interns as applicable. Foster teamwork and develop strategies for innovative programs to achieve optimal clinical nutrition and financial outcomes. Monitor competency, productivity, and documentation accuracy of clinical staff. Assign and direct workload of the clinical nutrition staff. Participate in staffing analysis with the Regional Clinical Nutrition Manager and the Director of Clinical Support to ensure adequate staffing. Comply with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies, while adhering to HIPAA and patient rights policies. Participate in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility‑wide quality assurance/improvement programs. Qualifications Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board, with required KY licensure. Two (2) years of acute‑care experience as a Registered Dietitian. Specialty certification when applicable. Proficient in Microsoft Office, electronic medical record & diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming. Benefits & Perks Education Reimbursement – financial support for advanced learning.
