Job Title: RN - Emergency Department Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Dept Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 Year Licenses: RN License Certifications: BLS, ALS, TNCC, ENPC or PALS Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Must have 1 year of emergency department experience. Description: This is a contract position in the emergency department for a registered nurse. No call is required. Shift will be from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The unit has a total of 23 beds. Staffing is based on patient volume. Typical patient ratios are 4:1. Procedures performed include cardioversion, TNK, and moderate sedation. Ideal candidates will be team players with a flexible and positive demeanor. Dress code requires navy blue scrubs. The unit was awarded recognition for its commitment to quality care. The department has a well-balanced tenure of nursing staff. Collaboration between nursing and providers is emphasized.
