Speech Language Pathologist
The onboarding is lengthy as compared to other clients. Background check (past 7 years), drug screen, work modules, medical records are required before start.
Location: Los Angeles CA
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 8.30 am to 5pm
Required Skills: Adult, ASHA, Swallow, Dysphagia, Voice Training, etc. Inpatient and Outpatient Settings. Outpatient is 70% peds, 30% adult. Inpatient is mostly adult. Experience in VFSS (preferred)
Job Summary: Provides diagnosis and treatment of communication disorders for more complex cases. Ensures compliance with standards and regulatory requirements. Oversees work of entry-level staff and supports community programs.
- Minimum two (2) years of previous experience as a Speech Therapist.
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- Speech-Language Pathologist License (California)
- National Provider Identifier
- Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate
- Basic Life Support required at hire
Additional Requirements:
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local requirements.
- Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
