Role : Locum Tenens Cardiologist
Location : Alpena, Michigan
Setting : Combination of outpatient clinic , inpatient rounding , call coverage , and procedures
-
Workdays : Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts (two weeks a month)
Call : 1:2 call expectation (includes nights/weekends)
Start Date : September 2026 - ongoing need
Credentialing Timeframe : 30 days

See new and established patients
Read imaging/tests
Perform procedures based on skills, including:
-
Diagnostic caths (optional)
TEE
Cardioversion
Loop implant/explant
-
No supervision responsibilities
1 APP on staff (out on maternity leave starting Oct 2025)
Technology-
EMR : EPIC
Dictation : Dragon
-
Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Cardiology
ACLS/BLS certifications
Case logs : 50 cardiology-related cases in the past 12 months, 25 TEEs within the last 12 months
Proctoring : May be required depending on procedures
Licensing : Will consider IMLC candidates
