Breast Medical Science Liaison/Sr Medical Science Liaison - Texas/New Mexico

AstraZeneca seeks a Medical Science Liaison or Senior Medical Science Liaison for Breast Oncology in Texas and New Mexico. The role involves building local medical strategy, leading scientific exchanges with oncologists, and supporting the company's oncology portfolio through clinical expertise and healthcare relationships.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute tailored medical strategy aligned with company priorities and local patient needs
Build relationships with academic institutions, hospitals, managed care, and private practices
Lead scientific exchanges and peer-to-peer interactions with oncologists and multidisciplinary teams
Gather insights on treatment landscape, healthcare trends, and barriers to optimal patient care
Collaborate with clinical operations from trial feasibility through execution

Requirements

Advanced degree required: PharmD, MD/DO, PhD, PA, or NP in health science or clinical discipline
2+ years of MSL experience or relevant therapeutic area experience
Demonstrated ability to discuss scientific content with multiple audiences
Strong understanding of clinical study design, protocols, and regulatory environment
Excellent project management and written communication skills
Ability to travel 40-60% domestically by car, train, and plane
