Member Assist Cart Attendant

Position Summary Sam's Club #6247 seeks individuals who take pride in their work to help shape a member’s entire shopping experience by giving them a positive first and last impression. As a member‑assist cart attendant you will ensure the parking lot is well‑kept, help members with their purchases, keep carts ready, and assist members with loading their vehicles. Offer alternative product options if needed, and ensure items are dispensed when members arrive for pickup. Resolve member issues and concerns and promote the company’s products and services. Maintain safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps, following procedures for handling merchandise, and reporting unsafe situations to facility management. Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying member needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, processing member purchases, and handling payments according to company policies. Use cash registers to assist members with transactions, locate and organize merchandise, zone designated areas, and maintain the availability of carts and flatbeds. Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans and using the Open Door Policy. Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other partners; identifying priorities and deadlines; carrying out tasks; communicating progress; and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities.
