Auditor I - Accounting/Finance

This position is responsible for manually auditing contractor invoices monthly and within a three-week period. This position will manually audit contractor invoices for **** to identify, record, and report incorrect contractor service charges in a monthly audit findings report. In the monthly audit findings report, this audit position provides the supporting information and justification of audit-penalty findings broken down by charges and invoice number, penalty type, **** member code, and region and state for penalties of insufficient services, all done manually. These audit findings are also utilized to identify operational opportunities for our contractor to improve their services (timeliness, quality, customer service, etc.). This position is one of six in an audit team for the Power Grid Operations Locates organization.

Education Requirement:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or other business-related field
