Loan Processor / Closer - Business-Purpose Real Estate Lending (Fort Lauderdale)

About the Role

Trentium Capital is hiring an experienced Loan Processor / Closer to join our business-purpose real estate lending team in Fort Lauderdale.

This is a combined processing and closing role . You will own loans from the time they enter processing through closing and funding .

Our borrowers are real estate investors, builders, and developers, and our transactions include ground-up construction, fix & flip, bridge, DSCR, and other business-purpose real estate loans.

We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of a file rather than simply completing individual tasks.

What You’ll Do

• Manage loan files from processing through closing and funding
• Collect and review borrower, guarantor, entity, property, and transaction documentation
• Track underwriting and closing conditions
• Coordinate with borrowers, originators, underwriters, title companies, settlement agents, insurance providers, and other third parties
• Order and track appraisals, title, insurance, and other required items
• Maintain accurate file and pipeline information in Trentium’s LOS
• Keep borrowers and originators updated throughout the process
• Identify missing items and potential closing delays early
• Prepare files for closing
• Coordinate final loan documents, closing figures, borrower funds, signatures, and funding requirements
• Resolve closing issues and help ensure transactions fund on schedule
• Track post-closing items when required

• Commercial real estate lending

Experience handling both processing and closing responsibilities is strongly preferred.

• Professional with borrowers and sales teams
• Comfortable coordinating title, insurance, underwriting conditions, closing documents, and funding

This is not a traditional processing-only role. We need someone who can own the transaction through successful funding .

Location

This is a full-time, on-site position in Fort Lauderdale, Florida .

Candidates must be able to work from Trentium Capital’s Fort Lauderdale office five days per week .
