Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A mail order pharmacy is seeking a licensed pharmacist for a 6-week contract coverage opportunity in Largo, MD. This role is ideal for a pharmacist with retail or mail order experience looking for short-term placement with a flexible schedule.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
- November 1 through December 14
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately verify prescriptions to ensure patient safety and compliance
- Provide patient counseling regarding medication usage and potential side effects
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to support pharmacy operations efficiently
Qualifications:
- Valid MD pharmacist license
- Experience in retail or mail order pharmacy settings preferred
- Familiarity with Pioneer RX software is highly desirable
- Ability to work a flexible schedule within the contract period
