Registered Nurse (RN) - Director of Nursing - $62-95 per hour

Job Description & Requirements Tenet Massachusetts is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Director of Nursing for a nursing job in Cherry Valley, Massachusetts. Specialty: Director of Nursing Discipline: RN Duration: Ongoing 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Staff Responsibilities Provide leadership and support to the senior executive position (Chief Nursing Officer) responsible for all nursing and other designated patient care functions/services within the hospital organization. Assist in assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practice on a multi‑unit level. Assume 24/7 responsibility of the Director’s assigned areas and support the CNO to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care. Serve as a role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing. Perform other related duties as required. Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Experience: Minimum 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager, full‑time charge nurse, or related position. Certification/License: Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice nursing as required by law and regulation in the state of practice; CPR certification. Active and current registered nurse license in the state of residence/practice. Preferred Qualifications Education: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or master’s in a health‑care related field.
