You Have:  3+ years of experience in a professional work environmentExperience with Congressional or legislative affairs and the Congressional Authorization and Appropriations process, the DoD legislative process, including program objective memorandum (POM) preparation, Budget Estimate Submissions (BES), President’s Budget (PB) Exhibit preparation, and working around senior Congressional staff and DoD or Navy officialsExperience with Navy staff, Joint Staff, or Combatant Command (COCOM) staffExperience with requirements analysis and identification in Navy and Marine Corps programsExperience with regular direct client interactions, including supporting project delivery, delivering presentations, leading client meetings, and working independently, creatively, and analytically in a problem-solving environmentExperience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPointKnowledge of data analysis and visualization toolsAbility to track and comprehend acquisition and procurement goals as they move through the legislative cycleSecret clearanceBachelor's degreeNice If You Have:  Experience working as a Congressional or DoD stafferExperience with the Program Budget Information System (PBIS)Experience with Navy ERPExperience with reviewing and drafting appeals to Congressional Defense Committee's as part of annual Authorization and Appropriations processAbility to plan, organize, and execute tasks with minimal directionClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
