About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 24 months of current Med Surg, Tele, Med/Tele experience License: Active Iowa license or compact/multistate Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association) Must-Have: - 24 months of experience in Med Surg, Tele, or Med/Tele required - Experience floating across Med Surg units including post-op required - Post-op surgical care experience required in EGD, colonoscopy, cardiac catheterization, and pacemaker, including minor surgery - Experience with heparin, insulin, diuretic infusions, amiodarone, diltiazem, and 3% saline infusion required - Must be able to comfortably and confidently read EKG/ECG including rhythm strips and dysrhythmia - EPIC EMR experience required Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse with a specialty in Med Surg/Telemetry. The position requires a commitment of 13 weeks. Candidates must be available for night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working 3 shifts per week. The nursing role will involve floating across Med Surg units, including post-operative settings. Experience with drips and titrations for various medications is necessary. Candidates must possess the ability to read EKG/ECG and manage all tele-related responsibilities. Active licensure in Iowa or a compact/multistate license is required. This position requires current ACLS and BLS certifications. We are looking for candidates who can exhibit strong clinical skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
