Responsibilities- Inspect, diagnose, and repair semi-trailer systems, including brakes, suspension, and electrical components.
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative checks to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify issues and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to complete repairs efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on each vehicle.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new repair techniques.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in automotive or diesel mechanics is a plus.
- Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with semi-trailers or heavy-duty vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
